Do Your Bit - Donate to Our Hunger Action Efforts

Rise Against Hunger India aims to end hunger and malnutrition through short term measures as well as long term sustainable food security projects. Between 2015 and 2022, over 2.3 million needy people have been served through multiple projects including 23 million highly nutritious meals packaged by thousands of volunteers. The nutrient quality of our meals has helped in the recovery process of Tuberculosis patients and those recovering from Cancer or other such ailments. Through projects such as soil enrichment, millet farming, vegetable production, livestock promotion, climate adaptive agriculture - more than 5,000 farmers have been able to increase their outputs and income.

This is how your contribution will help:

Every month, we serve around 23,000 people with our nutritious, healthy and wholesome meals. In rural areas, our nutrition packets are helping pregnant mothers and young children. The support you provide will go directly to organize food and nutrition for these groups.

Your support will also boost our livelihood and food security indicators. We are now present in around 120 villages in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar. These villages are located in very remote hard-to-reach areas with majority of the inhabitants facing food insecurity and malnutrition situations. Our dream is to create hunger and malnutrition-free villages and we have defined indicators that we measure from time to time to track progress.

Rise Against Hunger India

Rise Against Hunger India envisions a world without hunger and organizes its activities around 4 main pillars: Nourishing Lives (through meals and other direct provisions), Empowering Communities (for sustainable livelihoods), Responding to Emergencies and Building a Strong Movement (through active volunteer engagement).
